Tree sap stain removal from clothes?
I have got brown stains from banana tree sap on my new jeans. Nothing seems to shift it including a soak in mild bleach and lemon juice. Any ideas for stain removal from clothes? Thank you.

Tree Sap Removal from Clothing
To get tree sap off clothing try Goof Off (or a product similar to that), or WD40. Spray the product on the stain, rub in, then launder as usual. For a homemade treatment, try using mayonnaise in a similar fashion. Good luck with stain removal from clothes.

Cedar stain removal from clothes?
My daughter stored her white school jacket in a cedar chest. When she removed the jacket, it had red streaks on the side from the cedar on the chest. I have tried to use oxy clean, but it doesn’t seem to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the red cedar stains? Or just stain removal from clothes in general?
This article of clothing has blue on it also, so I don’t know if peroxide would be such a good idea.

Boy this ones tough. Try soaking it in vinegar and water. That might break up the stain, and hopefully it will come out in the wash when using your detergent, and the warmest water setting you can safely use on the jacket. I’m assuming that the jacket is useless now with that stain. If nothing else works, I’d try bleaching it. Good luck with the stain removal from clothes database you are building!

Pre-treat the article of clothing by laying it flat and covering the area with cornstarch. Leave it to sit for at least 1/2 hour to soak up some of the oil, then gently brush away the cornstarch.
If your article can handle a regular washing, then try soaking it in the kitchen sink with Dawn dishsoap. Use the hottest water that your item can be washed in. Leave it to soak for awhile, then gently squeeze the article over and over, underwater, until you are certain that it has been absolutely saturated with the soapy water. Drain the sink, then rinse the article to get out most of the soap.
Finally, use a pre-wash spray such as Shout or Oxyboost on the spot, then run it through a regular wash cycle along with a couple of damp towels. Hopefully, the oil will be completely gone! Stain removal from clothes is mostly just knowing a few good methods and improvising!

Crayon stain removal from clothing???
Admin answers:
Place the stained clothes on a white cloth or a few white paper towels.
Spray WD-40 or apply a product such as Goo Gone onto the stain. Let this stand for a few minutes.
Turn the clothing over and apply WD-40 or Goo Gone to the other side of the stain; again, let this stand for a few minutes.
Take some dishwashing detergent and work this into the stain on both sides.Wash in hot water with a detergent containing color-safe bleach, such as Cheer with Bleach. Or use a regular detergent and add color-safe bleach.
Check the clothing before drying to ensure that the crayon stain is gone. If not, then repeat washing.

Removal of oil stains from clothes?
I have no idea how they got there, but I have small grease looking spots on my hospital scrubs. Maybe it is from fabric softener, or something I touched -like sanitizer which is alcohol based. Any way to remove these. The clothes have been washed and already dried, or am I out of luck? I have tried a lot of stain removal from clothes methods.

I’ve had success with believe it or not, Ivory soap for stains that wash and dried also Oxiclean is amazing the real stuff not the knockoffs, get the powder and the spray, wet the stain with the spray then apply the powder and add more spray to area until it’s a paste let it sit of a while then wash, if that doesn’t work and yeah out of luck. But these stain removal tips do work, as do the other stain removal from clothes techniques on this blog.
