You are having a cup of tea and then you notice that you have spilled some of it on the table cloth and how do you remove tea stains from it? • If it is clothing here are some ideas-take the tea stain and put in on top of a white towel or cloth
• Pour freshly squeezed lemon onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Put in the sun and let it dry and then launder as per usual
• Otherwise try vinegar which is also acidic in nature. Do the same as above with the towels underneath, and then pour pure white vinegar onto the tea stain. Soak overnight in a mixture of one part vinegar and three parts of water until the stain is removed
• Don’t put the item in the dryer until the stain is removed otherwise it will set and be impossible to remove
Tea Stains on Teeth can be removed:
• Brush your teeth often and always after a cup of tea. The tannic ingredient in tea is very strong and can work away at the enamel of your precious teeth
• Use a toothpaste for whitening and then follow up with a whitening mouthwash which is available on the market
• Use a paste of baking soda with a small amount of water to brush your teeth once or twice a day. The baking soda will work simply on your teeth or dentures and leave a lovely taste afterward. There are many toothpaste brands which now contain baking soda

Other materials and problems in tea stain removal:

• For tea cups and saucers which are stained in tea, make a stiff paste of baking soda and water. Rub the cups with a cloth dabbed in the paste all over the cups, saucers or mugs and rinse with water before washing up in the sink or dishwasher
• Have fun with this one-to remove tea stains from carpet, pour a bit of beer on the stain and then dab up with a cloth. Repeat as necessary but only use a bit of beer at a time so it does not soak through to the underpad
• Rub the tea stains with salt on cups or tea pots to remove those nasty stains. If that doesn’t work then make a solution of vinegar and salt to remove the tea stains
• If you have a counter top stained with tea, then spray the surface with WD-40 and rub with a sponge or cloth until it disappears
